Our Workplace Cycle Challenge model is consistently successful at:


1. Getting new cyclists to take up and continue cycling

  • One in three Challenge participants have not cycled before in over a year.

Who takes part in our challenges?

  • 37% of new cyclists are now cycling at least once a week.

2. Getting occasional cyclists to start cycling regularly

  • 35% of occasional cyclists are now cycling more regularly than before the Challenge.

3. Getting more people to cycle for transport purposes

  • 43% of occasional cyclists are cycling to work at least once a week
  • 38% of new cyclists have tried cycling to work at least once since the Challenge
